At least eight major league teams will have scouts in attendance for Jake Peavy’s start on Thursday against Detroit.
According to ESPN’s Jayson Stark, the Red Sox, Cardinals, Dodgers, Braves, Orioles, Reds and Rangers.
It’s a tough matchup for the veteran right-hander but will provide interested teams a good look at Peavy against a quality lineup.
Peavy, 32, has a 4.19 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 69/15 K/BB ratio in 73 innings this season. There is one year remaining on Peavy’s contract.
