Chan Ho Park retires from baseball

Chan Ho Park last pitched in 2011 with the Orix Buffaloes. His last appearance in Major League Baseball came in 2010 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Park spent seventeen seasons in the major leagues after signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1994.

Park, 39,  was once one of the best pitchers in baseball. In his eight seasons with the Dodgers the right hander was 80-54 with a 3.80 ERA. After signing a mega-deal with the Texas Rangers his numbers took a tumble. Park eventually bounced around to a series of teams before heading to Japan for 2011.

Park finished his major league career with a 124-98 record and a 4.36 ERA.
