Sports that Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn has suffered ACL &amp; MCL tears to her right knee in a mountain crash today<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Charles Robinson (@CharlesRobinson) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CharlesRobinson\/status\/298834818035240961\">February 5, 2013<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Another source, the Austrian Ski Federation has reported that the injury is an ACL\/LCL tear.<\/p>\n<p>Recovery times for reconstructive knee surgeries vary greatly, but numerous ski racers with multiple ligament tears have returned to the slopes in less than a year \u2014 with unpredictable results.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IkN7cWs2phA?rel=0\" height=\"360\" width=\"640\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Following a lengthy fog delay, Vonn crashed midway through the super-G course. She came off a jump and caught the edge of her right ski and twisted her leg violently before going down.
