Morrison, 44, was 48-3-1 during his career which was highlighted by a win over George Foreman in 1993 for the WBO championship.<\/p>\n<p>The news of Morrison&#8217;s death was confirmed by his former promoter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s true,\u201d said Tony Holden, via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tulsaworld.com\/article.aspx\/Former_boxing_champion_Tommy_Morrison_reportedly_dead\/20130902_11_0_TommyM693614?subj=1\" target=\"_blank\">Tulsa World<\/a>. \u201cHe was with his wife Trisha when he passed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Thus car the official cause of death has not been released.<\/p>\n<p>Morrison also is remembered for appearing in Rocky V\u00a0 but his boxing career was derailed when he tested positive for HIV in 1996.
