Christopher Bell leads one lap, wins at Atlanta

Ryan Blaney claimed the pole for the Ambetter Health 400 but could only watch as Austin Cindric grabbed the lead at the start of the race before Josh Berry would claim the first stage win of the day.

The first caution for incident came out on lap 81 when Ty Dillon hit the wall and spun. Near the midway point of stage two, Erik Jones got spun while checking up to avoid Riley Herbst. On lap 135 Todd Gilliland would have a tire come apart while running fourth. Caution would fall again after Chase Briscoe and Ricky Stenhouse made contact with Stenhouse sending Chase Elliott into the wall setting off a chain reaction which saw the cars of Corey LaJoie and Brad Keselowski collected. Kyle Larson would grab the lead from Joey Logano to claim the second stage.

In the third stage a multi-car incident happened when Daniel Suarez and Ty Gibbs made contact resulting in damage to Cody Ware, Noah Gragson, Cole Custer, JJ Yeley , and Zane Smith. Later, Briscoe would make contact with the wall and then Chris Buescher causing Buescher to spin into Alex Bowman. Meanwhile elsewhere on the track Ty Gibbs would spin on the backstretch.

With Josh Berry out front and just clicking past the 30 to go mark, Carson Hocevar would spin Blaney. Kyle Larson would be in the lead with three to go when he forced Cindric into the wall with whom Byron made contact with both spinning out with damage.

Larson led the field to the start for a green-white-checkered but it would be Christopher Bell at the front when a caution dropped for an incident in the back of the pack.
