The 2025 NASCAR season kicks off this weekend at the famed Daytona International Speedway.
This weekend will see the ARCA Menards Series, Craftsman Truck Series, Xfinity Series and Cup Series all compete in the first points race of the season.
On track activity starts on Wednesday with practice and Cup Series qualifying ahead of Thursday Duel races where 45 drivers will compete for 40 spots. The 36 chartered teams will be guaranteed to start the race, while Helio Castroneves will make the race via a provisional should he not outright make the race bumping the field to 41.
On Friday the Truck Series will end the day with the Fresh From Florida 250. A day later the ARCA Series and Xfinity Series will race before the Cup Series completes the Daytona 500 on Sunday.

Temps in the mid 80s on Wednesday and Thursday give way to cooler weather on Friday with a high of 72. The high of 78 on Saturday comes with a 40% change of rain while Sunday features a high of 82 with a 50% chance of rain.
