The annual Clash before Daytona will take place at Bowman Gray Stadium on Sunday.
Leading up to the event there will be qualifying and heat races on Saturday and Sunday. This marks NASCAR’s first Cup Series race at the track since August 6, 1971 when Bobby Allison won a disputed race. Also taking place at the track was Richard Petty’s 100th career win. The winner of this event will win the Bobby Allison Memorial Trophy.
