St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Joe Kelly left Wednesday’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers with a sore left hamstring
Kelly was trying to beat out a bunt and grabbed his hamstring after reaching first base. The Cardinals had to help him down the dugout steps.
Right now the extent of Kelly’s injury is unknown but a trip to the disabled list appears all but certain. Carlos Martinez is the likely candidate to replace Kelly in the Cardinals rotation at this point.
