Kyle Busch won the pole for this weekends NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway. The driver of the No. 18 Toyota Camry beat out Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano for the top spot.
In the final segment of knockout qualifying Busch the fast time claiming the pole at the 0.526 paperclip short track located located in Ridgeway, VA which has become famous for its hot dogs.
Last season it was Jimmie Johnson winning this race for his eighth win at Martinsville while Jeff Gordon won his eighth race a the track in the fall race. Sunday’s race will air on FOX beginning at 1:00 pm ET. The green flag will wave at 1:13 pm ET.
The STP 500 will be 500 laps making up 263 miles.
