Joey Logano is officially on the hunt for another win at Phoenix Raceway. After a blistering qualifying session, the three-time champ secured the pole for the Straight Talk Wireless 500, marking his third career pole at the Arizona mile-oval.
The Front Row
Logano took the top spot with a speed of 135.537 mph. He’ll be flanked by 2021 champion Kyle Larson, who narrowly missed the pole with a lap of 134.943 mph.
Practice Highlights & Mishaps
While Logano owns the pole, Spire Motorsports dominated the practice charts. Daniel Suárez led the session at 133.944 mph, closely followed by teammate Carson Hocevar.
However, practice wasn’t smooth for everyone:

Tyler Reddick: Despite being the points leader and winner of the first three races of 2026, Reddick spun out in Turns 1 and 2 late in the session.

Tire Issues: RFK Racing teammates Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher both dealt with flat tires, as did Riley Herbst.
