Giovanni Ruggiero earned his first career ARCA Menards Series win on Saturday in the General Tire 200. The win came after a near win in Friday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at the same 2.5-mile Daytona International Speedway.
The ARCA season opener had nearly 50 cars attempt to qualify for the race of which 40 took the green flag. Gus Dean would lead them to the green.
