Scott Dixon scores seventh Mid-Ohio win of career, IndyCar Results

Scott Dixon took advantage of an unforced error by points leader Alex Palou to score his seventh victory at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. The win snaps a winless streak of a year for the Ganassi driver.

As the race went green, the cars of Graham Rahal and Josef Newgarden found themselves beached in the gravel after contact on the opening lap. Will Power would also found himself out of contention early on.

Christian Rasmussen’s crew would fail to fuel his car during a pitstop resulting in his car coming to a stop and needing a tow back to the garage. Near the midway point Santino Ferrucci would get a penalty for avoidable contact with Connor Daly dropping him from 19th to 21st.

Dixon’s win gives him a win in 21 consecutive seasons.
