Logano Grabs Pole as Fords Sweep Top Eight Spots at EchoPark Speedway

Joey Logano will lead the field to green in Saturday night’s NASCAR Cup Series race at EchoPark Speedway, the rebranded Atlanta Motor Speedway,  after securing the pole position with a lap of 178.960 mph. It marks Logano’s first pole of the 2025 season and the 32nd of his Cup career.

Fords dominated qualifying, sweeping the top eight positions in the 40-car field. For the second consecutive Atlanta race, Team Penske and its affiliate, Wood Brothers Racing, claimed the top four starting spots.

Josh Berry, driving for the Wood Brothers, will start alongside Logano on the front row. Both drivers posted identical lap times, but Logano earned the pole due to higher car owner points.

Team Penske’s Ryan Blaney qualified third with a lap of 178.937 mph, followed by teammate Austin Cindric in fourth (178.626 mph). RFK Racing’s Ryan Preece will start fifth after clocking in at 178.092 mph.

He is joined in the top eight by teammate Brad Keselowski (177.960 mph), Cole Custer (177.949), and Zane Smith (177.920). Alex Bowman was the fastest Chevrolet, qualifying ninth at 177.675 mph, while Pocono winner Chase Briscoe secured 10th with a lap of 177.635 mph, making him the top Toyota starter.

Saturday night’s race is set to begin at 7:19 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on TNT and TruTV.
