Colton Herta fastest in second Detroit Grand Prix practice, speeds

Colton Herta – Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix – By: Paul Hurley

Kyle Kirkwood remained fast in the second practice session for the NTT IndyCar Series at the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix, but it was his Andretti Global teammate Colton Herta who paced the field in Saturday mornings session.

Numerous drivers dealt with cold tires and cold track conditions resulting in run offs as they navigated around the tight nine-turn street course.

The series will have qualifying will take place at noon ET.
