Josef Newgarden was the fastest on track in the final IndyCar practice session of the weekend before the Indianapolis Grand Prix.
Pole sitter Alex Palou was fastest for much of the session before being surpassed on the leaderboard by Scott Dixon, Christian Lundgaard and eventually Newgarden.
The NTT IndyCar coverage of the Sonsio Grand Prix from Indianapolis Motor Speedway will air on FOX beginning at 4:30 pm ET. The green flag is expected for 4:52 pm ET.
