Richard Childress Racing (RCR) has announced that rising NASCAR Xfinity Series star Jesse Love will return to the NASCAR Cup Series for two additional races in the 2025 season. Love will take the wheel of the No. 33 C4 Ultimate Energy Chevrolet this Sunday, May 11, at Kansas Speedway and again on August 16 at Richmond Raceway.
The 20-year-old Menlo Park, California native continues to build momentum in his rookie Xfinity Series campaign, where he currently sits fourth in the driver championship standings. Through 12 races, Love has claimed one win, two poles, three top-five finishes, and eight top-10 finishes, while leading 156 laps. Now, he’s taking another step forward by gaining valuable seat time in NASCAR’s premier series.
Love made his Cup Series debut earlier this year at Bristol Motor Speedway, where he posted a top-20 qualifying effort and completed all laps—an impressive start for the young driver. He followed up with another solid outing driving the No. 62 Chevrolet for Beard Motorsports at Texas Motor Speedway.
“I’m looking forward to being back behind the wheel of the No. 33 C4 Ultimate Energy Chevrolet this weekend at Kansas,” said Love. “Kansas has been a great track for me throughout my career, and to have the opportunity to run the Cup car consecutive weeks on a mile-and-a-half track is going to be valuable experience. The focus for these races is to continue learning and understanding how this car feels compared to other cars that I’ve raced in the past.”
The No. 33 Chevrolet will once again feature branding from Nutrabolt’s C4 Ultimate Energy, the No. 1 selling global pre-workout brand and one of the fastest-growing energy drink companies in the U.S. The company recently introduced its Frost collection—a new product line available in three flavors. The line features an innovative can technology that changes color from silver to blue when chilled, signaling the drink is cold and ready to enjoy.
Fans can catch Love’s return to the Cup Series this weekend during the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway. The race is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 11, with live coverage on FS1, the Motor Racing Network, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90).
