Due to rain practice and qualifying were cancelled. This lest Tyler Ankrum on the pole for the race which he would lead though the competition caution on lap 20. On the restart on lap 26 Ankrum would lose the lead to Layne Riggs as Ty Majeski, who started 24th, moved up to fourth passing Ankrum who was beginning to fade. The second caution would come out on lap 31 when Giovanni Ruggiero got into the front stretch grass slamming into Kaden Honeycutt.
