Katherline Legge’s debut in the NASCAR Cup Series began with a spin as she ran at the back of the field in her first start at Phoenix Raceway.
Driving the No. 78 entry Legge spun off turn two as she said the car felt tight. The spin was on lap four and took place at the back of the field and did not collect anyone else.

Legge would make a pitstop. After the race resumed tehre was another caution as multiple regular Cup Series drivers made contact resulting in a spin for Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
