Earlier this week, Brett Griffin announced that the latest episode of Dirty Mo Media’s Door Bumper Clear podcast would be his last.
Griffin, known for his spotting work with notable drivers such as Elliott Sadler, Jeff Burton, and Clint Bowyer, as well as serving as a fill-in spotter for Richard Childress Racing during the 2024 season, was one of the founding hosts of the podcast, which launched in 2016.
Early in his motorsports career, Griffin worked as a public relations representative for Sadler during CITGO Petroleum’s sponsorship of Wood Brothers Racing. More recently, he facilitated sponsorship for Kaulig Racing through his company, SpotOn Activations.
During Championship Weekend, Griffin stepped in for Brandon Benesch, who was suspended for the event. He successfully guided Jesse Love to a sixth-place finish in the Xfinity Series race at Phoenix Raceway and assisted Austin Dillon, who finished 27th in the Cup Series season finale.
