Alex Bowman was disqualified following Sunday’s Cup Series race at the Charlotte Roval ending his playoff hopes for the 2024 season. The disqualification of Bowman allows Joey Logano to join seven others in the Round of 8.

Kyle Larson won the race on Sunday allowing him to advance along with second place Christopher Bell, third place William Byron, fifth place Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin, Ryan Blaney, Tyler Reddick and Logano.
The Round of 8 contains races at Las Vegas, Homestead-Miami Speedway, and Martinsville Speedway.
