Alex Bowman will start from the pole in Saturday’s running of the Bass Pro Shops night race.
Bowman is among a group of playoff hopefuls competing in Saturday’s race. The driver of the No. 48 Chevrolet is in good position to move into the next round with a 41 point advantage.
Less safe are Chase Briscoe and Ty Gibbs who are six points ahead while Denny Hamlin is is the first person outside the playoffs right now. Brad Keselowski (-12), Martin Truex (-14) and Harrison burton (-20) are further back.
