Rafael Devers homer breaks Fenway seat

A two-run homer off the bat of Rafael Devers broke a seat in Fenway Park.

The homer, which took place in the first inning, came off Royals pitcher Brady Singer and is estimated to have gone 439 feet with a 114.7 mph exit velocity.

Devers opted out of going to the All-Star Game in Texas in order to rest his shoulder.

The Red Sox took a 5-4 win over the Royals to end the first half of the season.
