The life and career of Richard Petty was honored at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Driving the iconic Petty blue Plymouth was his son Kyle Petty.
Speaking to fans at the festival Kyle said his father would never let him drive this car so doing so at the festival was important to him.
In his NASCAR career Richard “The King” Petty won seven Cup Series titles and 200 races.
The King has been taking part in the Goodwood Festival of Speed since 2006 sporting different cars from his career.
Last week the Petty Family shared a video of the car narrated by Kyle.
