Bubba Wallace was not pleased with Alex Bowman during Sunday’s Cup Series race at the Chicago Street Course.
Following Bowman’s win, Wallace made contact with the No. 48 car on the cooldown lap while Bowman’s window net was down. The contact by Wallace was retaliation for Bowman spinning out the No. 23 car on Lap 25 of the race.

NASCAR has deemed that Wallace’s actions are a violation of their code of conduct fining the driver $50,000.
In addition has revoked the membership of Christopher Freman due to section 4.4.D of the code of conduct.
