Jacob Abel won his second Indy NXT race in a row claiming the first of two races for the series at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on Friday.
The win for Abel comes a week after winning the Alabama Grand Prix at Barber Motorsports Park.
Abel has a 14 point lead over Nolan Siegel in the Indy NXT standings. The series runs the second race at Indianapolis on Saturday at 1:00 pm ET. That race will air on Peacock.
