Christian Eckes won Saturday’s running of the Weather Guard Truck Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Eckes began the night on the pole and led early as Matt Mills spun and brought out the first caution of the race. Kyle Busch grabbed the lead on the restart after the second caution for a Keith McGee spin. Busch would go onto win the first two stages.
Eckes would get around Busch in the third stage. In the closing laps Busch made an aggressive charge closing the gap but needed more time to get around Eckes crossing the line second.
