The Cup Series race was delayed a day due to rain. Joey Logano began the day on the pole. Chase Elliott and Ryan Balney would trade stage wins before an 18 car accident occurred on lap 192 of 200.

At the white flag another crash was set off with William Byron being declared the winner. The win comes 40 years to the day that Henrick Motorsports started.
