Josh Berry scored the pole for Saturday’s running of the Alsco Uniforms 302 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
While Berry is no longer in contention for the playoffs, Cole Custer who joins him on the front row is the highest starting playoff driver. Custer enters the day 2 points back of the final spot for the championship round at Phoenix.
John Hunter Nemcheck enters the race 37 points ahead of the cutoff line. Austin Hill (+21), Justin Allgaier (+17) and last week’s winner Sam Mayer (+2) are ahead of Custer, Chandler Smith (-11), Sheldon Creed (-12) and Sammy Smith (-14)
