Sam Mayer used a win at the Charlotte Roval to earn his way into the Round of 8 for the NASCAR Xfinity Series playoffs.
Justin Allgaier and John Hunter Nemechek used wins in previous races at Bristol and Texas to earn their way in. In addition to them and Mayer, the following drivers remain eligible to win the Xfinity Series championship Cole Custer, Austin Hill, Chandler Smith, Sammy Smith and Sheldon Creed.
Eliminated from playoff contention are Daniel Hemric, Parker Kligerman, Jeb Burton, Josh Berry.
The Xfinity Series will now head to Las Vegas Motor Speedway next weekend for the first race in the Round of 8.
