Surely the people who make NFL schedules were not expecting Aaron Rodgers to go down in Week 1 when they made a primetime contest between the Kansas City Chiefs (2-1) and New York Jets (1-2).
Alas, this is where we are. The game will be played on NBC beginning at 8:20 pm ET at MetLife Stadium.
The Jets managed to win in Week 1 with Rodgers out early but have been outplayed in the two games since with everyone, including Joe Namath, calling for anyone but Zach Wilson to take snaps under center. Meanwhile the Chiefs were upended by Detroit to start the season but have rebounded with wins over Jacksonville and Chicago.
Entering this contest the Chiefs are 9 point favorites on the road against the Jets. The over/under for this contest is 41.5 total points.
