The FireKeepers Casino 400 will resume on Monday.
NASCAR dealt with rain Sunday as they tried to complete the Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway.
After moving the race up to a 2:30 pm ET start, cars rode around the 2-mile track hoping to go green only to be pulled onto pitroad and covered before turning an official lap.
Cars did make their way to the track with multiple drivers seeing their chances of victory go away when they got loose on the track and made contact with the wall.
After 74 laps NASCAR waved a caution and then placed a red flag on lap 75. NASCAR waited for a bit, however was not able to resume the race.
The Cup Series race will resume at noon ET on Monday airing on the USA Network.
