Christian Rasmussen went to victory lane at Iowa Speedway, assuming the Indy NXT points lead in the process.
After rain fell at Iowa Speedway Saturday morning the scheduled Indy NXT race would be delayed until the evening, following the NTT IndyCar Series race which had been won by Josef Newgarden.
With less than 20 laps to go Hunter McElrea got into Nolan Siegel who entered the day as the points leader. After the incident and Rasmussen’s win he now finds himself 22 points behind.
Matthew Brabham who was racing a one-off in the No. 75 would finish the race fourth.
