The NASCAR Xfinity Series race had to be halted on Saturday afternoon due to lightning. NASCAR had hoped to resume the race Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET/10:00 am local, however lightning prevented gates from being opened and track activities starting.
Just posted on the NASCAR Chicago Street Race Weekend twitter account was a message saying that the race would resume at 10:45 am CT (11:45 am ET).

There are flood concerns in the area so how much racing is done today remains to be seen, however it can be assumed that city officials and NASCAR do not want to have to reschedule this event for Monday.
