On Friday morning Michael d’Orlando scored the pole for the first USF Pro 2000 race of the weekend at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
Both the USF Pro 2000 and USF 2000 series are in action this weekend along with IndyCar and the Indy NXT at the 13-turn track.
Michael d’Orlando would end up with the pole, scoring his third of the season.
During qualifying Yuven Sundaramoorthy would go off the track near the midway point causing a red flag and having him lose his fast lap ending up with a 12th place starting spot.
USF Pro 2000 will qualify again this afternoon at 1:55 pm for race No. 2.
The race in which this qualifying will be for takes place on Saturday, July 2 at 11:55 am.
