The in-laws and nephew of NASCAR racer Jimmie Johnson were found dead in what police are investigating as a murder-suicide on Monday.
Jack and Terry Janway, parents of Johnson’s wife Chandra, and 11-year-old nephew Dalton are dead with law enforcement officials considering Terry a suspect according to TMZ.
A woman made a 911 call saying someone had a gun at the home before hanging up. When police arrived they found a body in a hallway and head another gunshot inside the home. In total three bodies were found, all dead from gunshot wounds.
Legacy Motor Club, the Cup Series team Johnson co-owns, will not field the No. 84 Chevrolet this weekend. Johnson had been slated to drive that car at the inaugural Chicago Street race.
