Chicago White Sox to sponsor Ty Dillon for Chicago Street Course race

When Ty Dillon gets behind the wheel of the No. 77 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet for the Chicago Street Course race he will do so with sponsorship from the Chicago White Sox.

The NASCAR Cup Series will hold their first event on the street course set during the weekend of July 1-2.

Both the No. 77 car and Dillon’s uniform will feature the White Sox branding. Dillon’s car will also be on display at Guaranteed Rate Field on June 23-24 as part of their first ever NASCAR Night.

Beggars Pizza, the Official Pizza of the Chicago White Sox, will be featured as an associate sponsor on the car. Beggars Pizza was founded in 1976 and opened its first location on Chicago’s South Side. There are now over two dozen Beggars Pizza locations in Illinois and Northern Indiana.

“This partnership with Spire Motorsports is truly a unique opportunity to showcase the White Sox brand during one of the most talked about events in Chicago,” said Mike Downey, White Sox director of marketing and promotions. “The NASCAR Chicago Street Race is certain to be an event for the record books, and we’re grateful to team up with Spire Motorsports and Beggars Pizza to be part of what is sure to be a memorable event for all.”
