XFL Offensive Player of the Year visiting Vikings

The XFL Offensive Player of the Year is visiting the Vikings on Thursday.

Jordan Ta’amu made his way around a few teams during his first go-around with the NFL bouncing between the offseason/practice squads of the Chiefs, Lions, Commanders, Panthers and Texans.

If the Vikings choose to sign Ta’amu he would be competing with Nick Mullens and Jarden Hall, a fifth-round rookie, for the right to be Kirk Cousins backup.

In college Ta’amu split time between the New Mexico Military Institute and Ole Miss.

Prior to playing in the XFL this past season, Ta’amu also appeared in the USFL during the 2022 season where he led the league in passing yards and touchdown passes. Ta’amu was also part of the second XFL relaunch for the 2020 season before it suspended operations.
