Tom Brady hammers that he is “not playing again”

According to Tom Brady, he is not playing again.

Brady again responded on Thursday saying he had no plans to continue his NFL career after retiring for the second time in February.

“I’m certain I’m not playing again, so I’ve tried to make that clear and I hate to continue to profess that, cause I’ve already told people that lots of times,” Brady told Sports Illustrated. Brady added that he was looking forward to his broadcasting career, his new role with the Las Vegas Raiders and having family time.

“Just spending as much time with my kids as I can and seeing them grow up and support different things that they have going on and that’s a very important job and I take them all pretty seriously. ”

Brady was announced as part of the Raiders ownership group last week by Mark Davis, a move that will require NFL approval.

After Brady retired in February of 2022 he changed course 41 days later and announced a return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a third season. With his new role with the Raiders some have speculated that Brady could be a player/owner for the Raiders, a move that would require approval by NFL owners.

Brady spent 23 seasons in the NFL winning seven Super Bowl titles, three NFL MVP awards, and ends his career as the NFL’s leader in passing yards (89,214) and touchdown passes (649).
