Blue Jays reliever Zach Pop left Thursday’s game against the Red Sox with what appeared to be a right hamstring injury in the ninth inning against the Red Sox.
Pop had allowed three earned runs in Thursday’s game before leaving. On the season he has a 6.59 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP across 15 games.
The Blue Jays will likely place Pop on the injured list ahead of Friday’s series against the Pirates. When he returns the Blue Jays will be looking for him to return to his form from a season ago.
