Shohei Ohtani struck out 13 on Wednesday in a no-decision against the Cardinals. With the performance Ohtani joined Babe Ruth as the only players in MLB history to record 500 strikeouts and 100 home runs.
Overall Ohtani was not his best allowing four runs on five hits and only making it though five frames.
Ohtani was 3-for-5 at the plate driving in one. The Angels defeated the Cardinals 6-4 thanks to a three run rally in the ninth. These two teams have a day game on Thursday with a 1:15 pm ET start.
