Ross Chastain will be driving a car designed to look like one of his favorites as a kid.
“That was one of my favorite paint schemes growing up and it will be a heck of an honor driving it at Darlington for Throwback Weekend,” said Chastain. when talking about Dale Jarrett’s UPS scheme. “Dale was a great driver and I think a lot of people remember the UPS commercials he did. It should be a fun weekend.”
Chastain’s No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro will honor Jarrett’s UPS scheme for the 2001 season when he raced for Robert Yates Racing. The scheme is part of NASCAR’s ninth annual throwback weekend at Darlington Raceway.
Worldwide Express has partnered with Chastain’s team, Trackhouse Racing, since 2022 and is currently the largest non-retail UPS Authorized Reseller.
Chastain will have some expectations to live up to as Jarrett went to victory lane in 2001 at Darlington, Texas Motor Speedway, Martinsville Speedway, and New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
