Two time National Champion quarterback Stetson Bennett was drafted in the fourth round of the NFL Draft on Saturday by the Los Angeles Rams.
The drafting of Bennett marked the first time that the Rams have drafted a quarterback during Sean McVay’s time as head coach. Bennett will join Matthew Stafford as the only quarterbacks on the roster.
Last season the Rams were derailed after an injury occurred to Stafford. The team used John Wolford, Bryce Perkins, and Barker Mayfield at quarterback in place of Stafford.

There were concerns with Bennett’s off the field activities after he was arrested in January for public intoxication. Age was another concern as Bennett is 25, a few years older than most of the players taken by teams.
