Sammy Smith on Atlanta Xfinity pole, rain cancels qualifying

Sammy Smith is on the pole for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

After rain canceled qualifying NASCAR went to the rulebook to set the field leaving the No. 18 car at the front of the field for the start of the Raptor King of Touch 250.

Smith won last weekend’s Xfinity Series race at Phoenix Raceway for his first win in the series.

Coverage of the Xfinity Series race will air on FS1 and PRN beginning at 5 pm et.
