Three time W Series champion Jamie Chadwick finished 13th in her Indy NXT debut in the Indy NXT by Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.
Chadwick was involved in two incidents on the day which brought out cautions at the 1.8-mile, 14 turn circuit. The second incident left Chadwich a lap down.
Sunday’s Indy NXT series opener was scheduled for 45 laps or 55 minutes. Due to the large number of cautions the race ended on time with Danial Frost as the winner.
The 24-year-old from Bath, England will get her next chance in the Andretti Autosport car on April 30 at Barber Motorsports Park.
