Kevin Harvick making 750th consecutive start at Auto Club Speedway

Kevin Harvick’s NASCAR career will come to a close at the end of the 2023 season but the driver of the No. 4 Ford Mustang is reaching some milestones along the way.

On Sunday, Harvick will make his 750th consecutive start in the Cup Series becoming just the third driver to reach that milestone behind Jeff Gordon and Ricky Rudd.

The last time Harvick was not in a Cup Series event was the April 2, 2002 race at Martinsville Speedway when he was parked by NASCAR following a back and forth on track with Coy Gibbs which followed another incident with Greg Biffle in what is now the Xfinity Series.

In a Cup Series career that dates back to 2001, Harvick has appeared in 791 events scoring 60 wins including the 2014 Series title. The driver whose nickname is “Happy” also has 47 wins in 349 starts and the 2001 and 2006 Xfinity Series titles on his resume. Additionally, Harvick has 14 wins in 124 Truck Series starts.
