The 65th running of the Daytona 500 will take place on Sunday, February 19. A field of 40 cars will take the green flag in The Great American Race.
Daytona International Speedway holds a special place in the hearts of NASCAR fans with the 2.5 mile track serving as both the opening race of the season and the most prestigious on the schedule.
A pair of Hendrick Motorsports drivers will lead the field to the green flag with Alex Bowman and Kyle Larson at the front of the field. Duel winners from Thursday will occupy row 2 with Joey Logano and Aric Almirola.

Coverage of the Daytona 500 will begin on FOX at 2:30 pm ET with the green flag dropping at 3:14 pm ET. The 500 mile race will consist of 200 scheduled laps with stage breaks at laps 65 and 130.
