JJ Yeley will attempt to make the 2023 Daytona 500 as an open entry driving the No. 80 for Finishline Motorsports Marketing.
According to Bob Pockrass, Josh Reaume will serve as the crew chief of the car.

Six other drivers are open entries for the Daytona 500. Yeley joins a list that includes Chandler Smith (No. 13), Zane Smith (No. 36), Carson Daly (No. 50), Austin Hill (No. 62), Travis Pastrana (No. 67), and Jimmie Johnson (No. 84).
Last season Yeley competed in 19 Cup Series races driving for Rick Ware Racing in all but one of those, and Carl Long in the other. In his career Yeley has made 15 starts at Daytona including six in the season opening Daytona 500. His best ever finish in NASCAR’s biggest race was a 10th place finish in 2013 when he drove the No. 36 Chevrolet of Tommy Baldwin Racing.
