The NASCAR Xfinity Series will need to beware of Kyle Busch again.
Busch, a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, will return to the lower division for five races this season following a one-year break.
Kaulig Racing will field an entry for Busch in the Xfinity Series where he has won 102 races over 362 career starts.
“I’m looking forward to having some fun in the Xfinity Series again,” he said. “What Matt Kaulig and Chris Rice have built in just a few short years at Kaulig Racing is impressive, and with the team’s alliance with Richard Childress Racing, this made for an easy decision to be back competing in a series that I’ve had success in over the years.”
Busch will drive the No. 10 car first at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 4. He is also expected to compete at Phoenix Raceway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Watkins Glen International, and Darlington Raceway.
Two days ago Busch announced his Truck Series plans for 2023. He will drive the No. 51 Chevrolet Silverado at Las Vegas on March 3, and then compete at Circuit of The Americas, Martinsville, Kanas Speedway, and Pocono Raceway.
Zariz Transport has been announced as the primary sponsor for all five of Busch’s Truck Series races.
