Padres hire Mark Loretta as special assistant to CEO

The Padres have hired Mark Loretta to be a special assistant to the CEO.

Loretta had a 15 year career in the major, including three seasons with the Padres.

Most recently Loretta served as the bench coach of the Cubs in 2019.
