When is the NASCAR race this weekend?

The NASCAR Cup Series has seen a few alterations to its playoff contenders in recent weeks with wins by Kurt Busch and Aric Almirola.

With four races left until the playoffs start at Darlington Raceway on September 5, fans are wondering just who will claim the remaining spots.

When is the next NASCAR race?

Unfortunately that wondering will have to wait. With the Olympics taking place, NASCAR will not be on track for the next two weeks. The extended break is a rarity for the Cup Series.

What can I watch?

In terms of high profile racing. Not much. F1 and IndyCar are also off this weekend though the former reruns next week at the Hungaroring. NBC has the current broadcasting rights with NASCAR and IndyCar.

The ARCA Menards Series will however be in action this week at Iowa Speedway. You will have to have MavTv or use NBC Sports’ TrackPass. The Shore Lunch 150 will begin at 9 pm ET.
